Greetings on behalf of the 2009 National Junior Angus Show (NJAS) Executive Committee! It is with great pleasure to announce the world's largest single beef breed show will be hosted by Georgia junior and adult Angus breeders July 19-25, 2009 in Perry, Ga., at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. This event started in 1969 and has become a focal point of the livestock industry each year. We are anticipating more than 700 exhibitors ranging in age of 9-years-old to 21-years-old to exhibit more than 1,000 head of registered Angus cattle throughout the week-long event. In addition to showing cattle, there are multiple life skills contests and competitions in which the junior members compete, including public speaking, team sales, photography contest, writing, graphic design, judging, cook-off, livestock, judging, quiz bowl and more. We estimate that 4,000 people will be in attendance from nearly 40 states throughout the entire event. Holding an event of this magnitude will take much financial support, contribution of goods and many Volunteers. Please review the sponsorship opportunities of the many ways you can get involved with the event and support the show and junior Angus members. Opportunities are endless and include sponsorships, participating as a vendor, providing items or advertising in the show program.

Bringing this great event to Georgia is a great opportunity to showcase Georgia, Georgia agriculture and Georgia tourism to so many families across the country. We hope you will consider supporting the event. The final deadline for receiving contributions will be April 1, 2009; however, expenses for the show have already begun to accumulate and contributions that can be made prior to the deadline would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your consideration and please plan to attend the 2009 NJAS July 19-25!

Sincerely,

Trey Davis, Katie Gazda, Carolyn Gazda, Christy Page and Heather Shultz
