NER Farms, Oconto, WI, donated a heifer pregnancy to benefit the 2002 NJAS. The pregnancy was purchased for $5,000. John and Linda Crace, Lancaster, KY; and Gary Simpson, Nicholasville, KY, purchased a quilt to support the 2002 NJAS to be held in Milwaukee, WI. The quilt sold for $2,700.

The John Deere Gator that was donated by Mid-State East, Inc. & John Deere was won by NJAA member Chad Hahn, Rocky Ridge, MD.
Kahn Cattle Co., Rydal, GA, purchased this commemorative NJAS Amish quilt for $6,000. The quilt represents the past 22 years of National Junior Angus Shows, displaying the logo from each show. Michael Graveman, Leoma, TN, left, purchased two race tickets, two pit passes, and one night stay at the new Marriott West, Waukesha, WI, for the CART FedEx Championship Miller Lite 250, May 28-June 2, 2002. The package was purchased for $350. Charlotte and Charles Crochet, Camp Cooley Ranch, Franklin, TX, purchased the same package for a separate race, the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series or NASCAR Grand National Stock Car, June 28-30, 2002, for $900.
Belle Point Ranch, Lavaca, AR, purchased this customized Angus print, "Bringing Home Tha Stray," for $2,700. Kahn Cattle Co., Rydal, GA, was contending bidder for the package and matched the $2,700 donation. The print, created by Western artist Dan Brewer, was donated by Windy Pine Angus, Dennis and Mary Kohl, Waterloo, WI. Steve Dorran cried the auction. Rance Long, American Angus Hall of Fame, and Jill Kozminski, Wisconsin junior Angus member, assisted.
Up and coming artist, Amanda Giles, Toms Brook, VA, donated a framed and matted white pencil on black drawing titled "Angus Cows in Pasture." The print was purchased for $450 by LeRoy and Angel Lane, Statesboro, GA. Pictured are (from left) LeRoy and Angel Lane, and Amanda Giles.

Whitestone Farm, Aldie, VA, supported the 2002 NJAS by purchasing the option to have Amanda Giles, Toms Brook, VA, create a custom portrait of an Angus photo. The portrait was purchased for $5,250. In addition, Denise Duffell of Whitestone Farm, purchased a framed stained glass piece depicting an Angus bull. The art, created by Wisconsin junior Angus member Dustin Henningfeld, Burlington, WI, was purchased for $800.
