The 2003 Angus Foundation Golf Tournament is set for Tuesday, July 15, at the Quail Chase Golf Course near Louisville, Ky.  This year marks the third annual tournament hosted by the Angus Foundation, which will be held in conjunction with the 2003 National Junior Angus Show, set for July 13-19 at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center.

Teams of four will compete for various prizes, including longest drive, longest putt, closest to the pin and hole-in-one.  Four-player teams can be formed before the tournament or players will be placed on a team that day.  Registration fee is $400 per team or $100 per individual golfer.  Junior golfers, National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) members under the age of 21, can play for a $75 fee.

Players will enjoy a light breakfast, followed by the 18-hole tournament.    A lunch featuring Certified Angus Beef® will be served following the tournament where players, sponsors and award winners will be recognized.

Registration and breakfast start at 6:45 a.m. and the tournament starts at 7:30 a.m.  All teams will receive a golf cart to use during the tournament.

All proceeds raised from the event go to the Angus Foundation, which is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization that supports youth, education and research.
